St Mary's School Henley

Molly’s talk to the school children at St Mary’s was so positive and inspiring. She encouraged them to always look for a positive in difficult situations. The children were completely fascinated by the very patient and obedient Unis and lots of questions asked whether she could go on various types of public transport and how she would go to the loo! Molly patiently answered all their questions and also shared some of her amazing artwork with us which hopefully got the children to understand how the world may look through Molly’s eyes. She kept her audience captivated and certainly broke some misconceptions they may have had about deaf and blind people. As staff we are in awe of her fortitude and look forward to hearing how she gets on as she undertakes her teacher training. Hopefully we will keep in touch and continue to help raise awareness of Ushers on her behalf through the school. Thank you Molly.

Thank you again!

Kate
